  PDDBI™ PDD Behavior Inventory Ira L. Cohen, Ph.D. Vicki Sudhalter, Ph.D. The PDD Behavior Inventory (PDDBI) is a rating scale that assesses problem behaviors, social skills, language skills, and learning/memory skills in children who have been diagnosed with PDD. It can be used with children between the ages of 1.6 and 12.5 years, and is applicable to both clinical and educational settings. As a clinical tool, this assessment can help you determine diagnosis and treatment; within an educational setting, it can aid with placement decisions and developing an intervention plan.

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test®—Second Edition: Canadian (WIAT®–II CDN) Canadian norms, an expanded age range, more comprehensive items, and streamlined test materials are just a few of the many benefits of the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test—Second Edition: Canadian (WIAT–IICDN). Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System—Second Edition (ABAS–II) The Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System—Second Edition (ABAS–II) is the only instrument that uses current American Association of Mental Retardation (AAMR) and DSM–IV–TR™ guidelines. It provides composite norms for the three general areas of adaptive behaviour—conceptual, social, and practical—specified in the 2002 AAMR definition of mental retardation. Sensory Profile by Winnie Dunn, Ph.D., OTR, FAOTA. Use the Sensory Profile to determine how well children ages 3 to 10 process sensory information in everyday situations and to profile the sensory system's effect on functional performance. The profile contributes to a comprehensive picture of a child's performance. Combine it with other evaluation data to create a complete picture of the child's status for diagnostic and intervention planning.

Conners 3rd Edition™(Conners 3™) is the result of five years of extensive research and product development. Based on the solid findings and key elements of its predecessor, the Conners’ Rating Scales–Revised (CRS–R™), the Conners 3 offers a more thorough assessment of ADHD. The Conners 3 now addresses comorbid disorders such as oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder. Each parent, teacher, and self-report form is available in full-length and short versions.

Rivermead Behavioural Memory Test—Third Edition (RBMT–3) The Rivermead Behavioural Memory Test—Third Edition (RBMT–3) is a new test offering a revision of the popular Rivermead Behavioural Memory Test. Published in 1985, the original RBMT was designed to provide an objective measure of a range of everyday memory problems reported and observed in patients with memory problems. Its goal was also to predict everyday memory problems in people with acquired, non-progressive brain injury and monitor change over time. Comprising tasks analogous to everyday situations that appear to be troublesome for memory impaired patients, its clinical utility for different patient populations was shown by numerous studies since its first publication.

Symptom Checklist—90—Revised (SCL–90–R) The versatile SCL–90–R instrument helps evaluate a broad range of psychological problems and symptoms of psychopathology in a variety of settings. This classic assessment is also useful in measuring patient progress and treatment outcomes.

NEPSY—Second Edition (NEPSY–II) The NEPSY–II assessment tool is a child-friendly test that provides a wealth of clinical data useful for planning treatment. It provides a flexible approach for evaluating attention/executive functions, language, visuo-spatial processing, sensorimotor functions, and memory and learning in children ages 3 to 16.

The MoCA© is a cognitive screening test designed to assist Health Professionals for detection of mild cognitive impairment.

Independent Living Scale Assessment (ILS) The Independent Living Scale (ILS) is a comprehensive tool for assessing activities of daily living, behaviour and initiation skills following traumatic brain injury. The ILS has been demonstrated to be both a valid and reliable evaluation instrument.

Motor-Free Visual Perception Test-3 (MVPT-3) is an assessment of an individuals visual perceptual ability with no motor involvement needed to make a response.

Mini Mental Exam Folstein (MMSE) The mini-mental state examination (MMSE) or Folstein test is a brief 30-point questionnaire test that is used to screen for cognitive impairment. It is commonly used in medicine to screen for dementia. It is also used to estimate the severity of cognitive impairment at a given point in time and to follow the course of cognitive changes in an individual over time, thus making it an effective way to document an individual's response to treatment.

Clock Drawing Test This is a simple test that can be used as a part of a neurological test or as a tool for Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.

Career Occupational Preference System Interest Inventory (COPS) By Lisa Knapp-Lee, Robert R. Knapp and Lila F. Knapp. Interest Inventory Assessment for Career Exploration and Counseling. The COPS Interest Inventory consists of 168 items, providing job activity interest scores related to the 14 COPSystem Career Clusters. Each Cluster is keyed to high school and college curriculum, as well as current sources of occupational information. The COPS interpretive material emphasizes a "hands-on" approach to career exploration, featuring career and educational planning worksheets, along with a listing of suggested activities to gain experience.

Paulhus Deception Scales (PDS) The Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding (PDS) Delroy L. Paulhus, PhD. The PDS, formerly known as the Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding, is a 40-item self-report instrument that measures the tendency to give socially desirable responses. The PDS is useful in identifying individuals ages 16 years and older who distort their responses and for evaluating the honesty of their responses, as it is administered concurrently with other instruments.
